The 5 Stages of Sickness

Who has an amazing immune system and never get's sick? Not this girl. It seems like the flu has decided on a rematch, and is kicking my butt. Round one was short lived and manageable, so of course round two has to be torture. I'm writing this post on Sunday, because Monday I have four classes and 3 hours of lab to get through, which is hard enough when I'm perfectly healthy.
Anyway, since I'm feeling bratty about having the flu, I thought I would share with you my 5 Stages of Sickness, as told by my favorite Supernatural hotties. Enjoy.

1. Denial

You tell yourself you're not sick. You're just need to drink more water...right?
And then this happens...
And your friends just look at you like

2. Anger

First, you realize who got you sick...
...and while you try to pretend you're not mad at them,
pretty soon you feel like sending death threats.

3. Bargaining

You pray, swear you'll eat healthy, wash your hands more, and will do anything to be healthy again...
...yet nothing seems to happen.

4. Depression

As your sickness sets in, so does the horrible feeling of knowing the next 24 hours will be hell...
...and it quickly elevates to this

5. Acceptance
And finally when you accept that you're sick, and there's nothing you can do about it...
you realize that you just might lose a few ponds.
Which makes you feel like doing this...
because spring break is in a few weeks, and losing a few pounds might be a good thing.

So there you have it. I don't know about you, but these are the five stages I go through every time I get sick.

  1. You forget the stage where I'm thankful it helped me lose pounds but otherwise nailed it!

  2. I am in love with this post. I am in fact one of those people that never gets sick (it's been years) but this definitely describes my roommate who is constantly coughing and sneezing
