Summer is here folks. I've been going non-stop, and reminiscing about those days during winter break where I could just lay in bed and watch Netflix without feeling guilty. Don't get me wrong though, summer is a blast and I'll take a warm sunny day on the beach over a cold winter day anytime.
Sunday was pretty packed for me. Our summer roommate moved in, I cleaned my room and did laundry (which is a process in itself), went to the beach, went to my old roommates graduation party, finished my laundry, and sold my jeep. Busy day eh?
Since I just threw all that at you, let me go back a step. My beloved roommate Rachel has graduated from UNH, and is now living closer to her job. Ali (my other lovely roommate) and I needed someone to take Rachel's room, so we now have a new roommate Garrett. So that happened.
If you live under a rock then you missed the beautiful weather we had. After getting house work done, Ali and I headed over to Hampton to soak up some sun. It took forever to find a parking spot, but it was totally worth it. After the winter we've had this year in New England, laying on the beach is like a dream come true.
After the beach, Ali and I headed to Rachel's for her grad party! We definitely miss that one. It was so great to see her and celebrate the fact that she's made it! Woohoo! We're super proud of this smarty pants, because she got into her first choice Vet school and will be one step closer to her dream this fall!
Later that evening, I finally sold the jeep. I've been dragging my feet because I love her to pieces, but I finally slapped a for-sale sign on her and stuck her in view of the road the other day. The jeep definitely sold much quicker than I was expecting, and caught me off guard a bit. I'd be lying if I said I didn't try everything I could to turn the buyers off. WHO DOES THAT? Yes, me. But, I think they'll take good care of Mystery. Yes, that's the jeeps name.
Quite a day right? I'd love to hear what you all did this weekend!
