Sick/Lazy Outfit + Makeup

Since I've been pretty sick this week, I thought I'd make the most of it by showing you ladies what I do for my hair, makeup, and outfit on days that I'm sick but still need to look presentable. If you have the luxury of laying in bed all day, slap on some moisturizer and call it good. BUT, if you have to go out and don't want anyone thinking the Grudge is real, here's what I do when I'm sick or just feeling lazy.

First off, take a shower! It will probably make you feel better too. Layer on your favorite moisturizer -mine is the Neutrogena Naturals Night Cream-  and chap stick -can't go wrong with EOS- , then go do whatever it is you do to your hair. For today, I just dried it and let it do its own naturally curly thing.

Once your hair is dry -because we don't want you getting any sicker!- it's time to conceal. I really don't like to wear makeup when I'm sick, however I do like to cover up any circles/tiredness under my eyes and redness around my nose. My favorite concealer is the Instant Age Rewind by Maybelline. Set it with a setting powder like Rimmel's Stay Matte, or a light powder foundation like It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation, put on a bit of blush so you don't look deathly pale, and call it a day.

If you're like me and don't feel like dealing with your crazy hair, put it up in a bun or down in a loose braid! No one said you had to look like Beyonce. Just a civilized human being.

And finally we come to the outfit. We all know I love being comfy, especially when I'm sick. Today I had to run to the store and it was pretty rainy, so I chose a pair of dark gray leggings, a white tank, white cardigan, and black knee high boots. Effortless yet still a decent outfit.

What are your sick/lazy day outfit and makeup tips? I'd love to hear them!

  4. First feel better. And I don't know about you but that is all I do almost everyday because I am always lazy to put too much effort into my look unless I am going on a date. Other than that can't go wrong with simple.
