Blog Love: College Is Love

Wow this week is flying by. Since I'm finally feeling better and back in the store, my life has gone back to being crazy. Which is how I like it :) To make sure you don't miss me too much and die of boredom on the days I don't post -because that's logical... Here's a fun Q&A with Amanda from College is Love, so you can get to know her better! She did the super fun Pinterest guest post last week in case you missed it.

Here we go:

Q: When and why did you start your blog?
A: I started my blog during the fall of 2011. It was my first semester away at
college and I am honestly not exactly sure why I started a blog. I had a
specific story to tell about living life in a residence hall and I wanted people
to read it—so I posted about it. I had tried to start many blogs before, so I
doubt I thought much of it at the time, but I am definitely glad I stuck at it.

Q: What is your ultimate summer essential?
A: My ultimate summer essential is a great summer read and great summer music. When
I am not blogging or hanging out with family and friends I can definitely be
found with a book in my hand and/or music in my ears. I never try to be too far
away from a good book

Q: You're stranded in the Forest. Who do you want with you?
A: Does this person have to know that I exist? Lol. Honestly, I’d probably want my
family and a few of my close friends. I have a hard time picking any one or two
people.

Q: What book would you recommend for this summer?
A: I’m gonna go super cheesy and say The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. It’s
already out in theaters and everyone should read it and cry in the sad parts
just like me. It’s seriously such an amazing book that will make you feel all of
the emotions and it’s a book you can’t put down.

Q: Describe yourself in 5 words.
A: Determined, Optimistic, Ambitious, Happy, and Supportive

Q: What would the title of your Autobiography be?
A: That is a very great question. I have never really thought about it, but I’d
hope it had something to do with me helping others or being an awesome person.

Q: What's it like being in a Sorority?!
A: Being in a sorority is like having a million sisters who support what you do,
hang out with you, and are just there for you when you need them. It’s
definitely not an easy group to be a part of, but I get so many amazing things
from being in a sorority like leadership experience, experience working with a
wide array of people, and testers for products I am working with for my blog
(shout out to my little for modeling for a post once even though we both weren’t
sure what we were doing!) I get so much from being a part of my sorority Sigma
Sigma Sigma!

Q: Why did you choose to major in Sociology?
A: Sociology has always been something that intrigues me. I love learning about how
people interact with other people so Sociology really works for me.

Q: What inspires you?
A: If I ever seek inspiration I usually turn to Pinterest or my parents. My parents
always know what to say to me, and Pinterest just gives me so many ideas whether
it be through quotes or projects that I ca do.

Q: Favorite perfume scent?
A: I don’t usually buy a lot of perfumes but my favorite scents are:
Amber Romance by Victoria’s Secret
Daisy by Marc Jacobs
Be Delicious by DKNY

I hope you enjoyed the Q&A! Go show Amanda some love and visit her blog!
