1. Peanut Butter.
I've never been a peanut butter lover, but after this week I'm an addict! It's filling, gives you protein, and a little fiber. If you lather it on some bread then you get some carbs and BAM! Powerhouse of a meal. Never underestimate a good PB&J. Just make sure you go for the reduced sugar options, and natural if you can.

3. Deep Breath. Raise your hand if you want to smack someone when they tell you to "calm down" and take a deep breath. Uhm, yeah, that's me! BUT, if you're starting to feel frustrated, annoyed, antsy, or whatever, taking a second to just take a deep breath actually does help a bit. If you're about to go all King Kong on someone then I'm not sure how much it will help, but it definitely helped me through my stressful car buying process!
Adding to the peanut butter, I kind of hate water...Is that weird? However, I've noticed that I feel so much better when I drink a few bottles of water while I'm working. Dehydration can give you headaches and make you sleepy and nauseous, so drink up!
5. Me Time. There aren't enough hours in the day. Can I get an Amen? I feel like this week I am in a routine where I wake up, work, come home, deal with car stuff, go to bed. It kind of brings my outlook down, which is never good in the summer! There isn't a lot of time for "me time," which most people can agree with. I've been trying to take an hour before bed, or an hour early in the morning to just sit, relax, and read a blog post, book, emails, etc. It helps me get motivated and back in a positive mood.
