Hunger Games- College Edition
Raise your hand if you're in College and getting projects, tests, and papers dumped on you before finals. Can I raise both hands and my feet? The next 14 days are going to be crazy for me, so let me apologize in advance for any rambling you might see on my blog. I have tests, discussion days, presentations, projects, and papers due basically every day. Throw babysitting, tutoring, and my lab hours in there and...well now you understand what I meant about rambling right?
The last few weeks of a semester always feel like the Hunger Games. It's like I know I'm going to be thrown into the arena to fend for myself, and now I'm trying to mentally prepare for the sleepless nights and constant fear. Swap out the brutality and death for tests and possible failure, and I could be your new Katniss. Someone find me a Peeta. My saving grace is probably going to be my trip to North Carolina this Wednesday, if I can make it that far. Two tests, a presentation, a project, and 6 lab hours stand between me and the open road. I can do this. Although if anyone would like to volunteer as tribute...I'll gladly step aside.
Who else is going through this? We both know that you're reading this blog post as a form of procrastination, just like I'm writing it to put off studying for a test. Procrastinators Unite! All tips on how to successfully get through the next two weeks without hair loss and bags under my eyes are greatly appreciated! If you need me, I'll be that girl in the library surrounded by books with Hunger Games playing on Netflix in the background. Good luck to all who are in my boat -er, arena. May the odds be ever in your favor! And mine.
