I Miss Florida

Oh hi. How are you? I feel like I haven't written a conversational post in a while, so today I'm going to sit here with my oatmeal and do that. Woohoo!

How I feel about this week...

So what's going on in life right now? Well let me tell you. Remember when I said I wanted to transfer schools? I'm still on that path. I've chosen the school that I want to go to, and I'm hoping I get in. With my grades and research experience, one of the admissions counselors said I was a very competitive applicant. The only thing I'm worried about, is this school requires that you've taken two college English classes before transferring. My school only requires freshman English...So I've only taken one. I'm seriously hoping this doesn't cause me to be denied. One counselor told me not to worry, the other told me to take a summer class (which I don't have time to do) so I'm a bit stuck. I guess we'll see what happens!

This week has been a bit...stressful. I always babysit more in the spring because people tend to just need a babysitter more often. It's great! Add that to the fact that I also do research and have a set number of hours I need to get done each week, plus my class schedule, plus the various meetings for class projects that I have, plus everything else going on in life, it can get a bit crazy sometimes. Oh well!

I'm getting really pumped for this summer. Florida was a tease, and now I'm ready for sandals and eighty degree weather every day. Bring it on! Speaking of being excited, I have a little surprise for tomorrow! Or at least I'm aiming for tomorrow...I hope you all like it though!

  1. Good luck getting in to your school! Florida is such a tease here in the North East. My parents are in AZ and telling me how wonderful the 80 degree weather is :/ Also, look in to online classes through your university or the community college. English comp is pretty simple to turn in to an online format, so I'm sure they offer it somewhere that your university will accept. But talk with your counselor before enrolling or you may take a class that doesn't count toward anything.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for making my day :)
