So Much To Do, So Little Time...
Do you ever have days where you feel like you have so much to do, but not quite enough time to get it done? I'm having one of those days. My morning isn't super packed, which is why I'm writing this post right now, but later on today I'm going to be running around like a mad person.
First off, I have plans tonight. And by plans I mean party plans, but they're still technically plans right? The kicker is that I'm babysitting half an hour away, until 9:30. So basically, I'm going to try doing my makeup while the kiddos are asleep, assuming they go to bed on time. My outfit is going to be in my car, and I should be able to just go straight to there... I hope.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Before I babysit, I have to run to the store and go food shopping, which I'm hoping to do after I finish writing this. Or well, after I put on real person clothes and eat. A girls gotta have priorities! After grocery shopping I have to (obviously) come back and put all the grocery's away. So that should put me at 2:30.
Assuming I haven't had a panick attack and thrown in the towel, I'll have to pick out an outfit for tonight when everything is put away. If you know me, you know that it's a painstakingly long process. Once I have an outfit that's worthy of the Pretty Woman set (this is a joke...ha-ha) I have to run in to Portsmouth by no later than 4:00 to pick up a pair of tights because it's cold outside, and I'm no bitty. After Portsmouth I'm going to go straight to babysitting, since I'll already be half way there.
Are you starting to see why I want more hours in my day? It's not that I'm on a time crunch or anything, there is just a lot to do, and I much prefer to be able to do things on my own time. God forbid the family comes home later than 9:30, or I want to take a minute to eat. I've tried to build in some time buffers just in case there is traffic (there's always traffic) or something happens.
Since I'm going to be running around today, you should sit around and watch Netflix for me. I'll live vicariously through you all.
