My Name Is Kimberly & I Have A Thrifting Problem...

It's not even 11 am yet, and I've already been thrift shopping today. Let that sink in. To my own defense, I had to wake up at 7 am for a 7:45 appointment, 20 minutes away. So I felt like I deserved a little something when I got done. If you couldn't tell, I'm not a morning person. I love to be up early, if I actually manage to fall asleep early, but that never happens.

Anyway, since I was in the area, I figured I could pop in to Savers since they were just opening and it had been a while few weeks since I went in. The problem with me going in to Savers, is I always spend about 2 hours in there (it's a huge store!) digging around to find the goods. At least I don't spend a fortune! Plus, buying things from Savers is basically like donating money since they donate money...So really it's a good thing to go shopping!

I always go for the colorful, fun looking books...so sue me!

Let me tell you, there were some great finds this morning! I found a cute pink North Face jacket for $9.99. Oh and a brown leather jacket for $6.99.Win! They also have quite a large selection of books (that are at most $2.99) so I picked up a few.

It looks super wrinkly in the pic, but it looks fabulous on!

Have I mentioned my dishware obsession? Anytime I find cute bowls or cute mugs, I have to pick them up. And I just happened to come across this adorable dish-set for $6.99. Oh and a huge mug too.

Do you see my problem? I could happily live in Savers if they let me. Really, I could. Thrifting is just so fun, because the store is completely different every time you walk in! It's not like when you pop in to Charlotte Russe and see the same things they've had out for the past 3 months. Plus, you can get some great things for cheap prices if you know where to look.

How do you feel about thrifting? I know some people have a problem with second hand things...but I don't. They invented bleach for a reason people!

    1. Oh no! I think they key is to go when the store first opens. That's what I did today and I was amazed at all the awesome things I found.

  3. The Savers in my area always has the most amazing purse section! I make sure to not go too often because it's hard to fit all the treasures I find in my campus apartment lol

  4. $10 for that good looking Northface jacket?! I think Savers owns Value Village in Canada and the most valuable item I've found during my thrifting was a Gap jacket for $20, original price is probably $120+
